Computer Science Student β’ IT Consultant
I build practical software that solves real problems.
Iβm Siddhartha Sitaula, a Computer Science student at the University of New Mexico with a solid background in Java, data structures, and solving problems with algorithms. I build interactive apps and games from the ground up, and I bring hands-on IT support experience β troubleshooting hardware, software, and classroom systems β to everything I do.

About me
Curious mind. Reliable teammate. Constant learner.
I am studying Computer Science at the University of New Mexico and working as a Student Consultant with UNM IT Academic Technologies. My experience combines software development, technical troubleshooting, customer support, and teamwork.
I like turning complex ideas into simple, useful programs. My projects have helped me practice object-oriented programming, data structures, recursion, algorithms, GUI development, and debugging.
My path started in Simara, Nepal, where I led IT support for a student organization β keeping event tech running, repairing systems, and helping people through technical problems. After building my foundation in mathematics and computer science at Prasadi Academy in Kathmandu, I moved to the United States in 2024 to study CS at UNM, where I've maintained a 3.70 GPA while working and building projects.

Selected work
Projects that show how I think and build.
Chess Game with Minimax AI
A playable chess application with legal move highlighting, player-versus-player mode, and an AI opponent powered by minimax search and evaluation logic.
Hexagonal Minesweeper
A minesweeper game built on a hexagonal grid using axial coordinates, randomized mine placement, flood fill, difficulty modes, and a timer.
Evil Hangman
A strategic version of Hangman that dynamically selects word families to avoid revealing a secret word for as long as possible.
Particle Simulation
An interactive simulation featuring sand, water, oil, plants, acid, and lava, each with unique movement and interaction behavior.
Lights Out Puzzle
A puzzle game where toggling one light also changes its neighbors, with random board generation and solved-state detection.
Postfix Calculator
A stack-based calculator that evaluates postfix expressions and supports arithmetic operators, square roots, and output commands.
Experience & education
Learning in the classroom and solving problems in the real world.
